Good For the Land, Good for the Grapes, Good for the wine
“Before my family established roots in California’s wine country, my great-grandfather, Rees T. Jenkins, ranched and farmed in Lander, Nevada. In his day all farming was done ‘the natural way’. Today, despite modern agricultural short-cuts, we continue to do things ‘the natural way’. It’s best for the land and the grapes and essential to crafting the finest, most flavorful wines.”
Press and accolades
Another excellent Chardonnay (100% varietal) aged in American oak. The 2013 Chardonnay shows tropical fruit and honeysuckle in a medium-bodied, fresh, lively style, without any real evidence of oak, although American cooperage is used for the aging. Drink now.
